The Change Management Lead is responsible for overseeing the change management initiatives within the organization. The CM Lead will work closely with Program Leadership and Senior Management to drive strategic change initiatives, enhance the organization's change capability, and ensure the successful adoption of changes introduced by the program across the organization.
Major Duties & Responsibilities:
- Leadership and Strategy:
o Develop and implement the overall, integrated, change management strategy aligned with organizational goals.
o Lead the Change Management efforts in conducting assessments of organizational readiness and identifying gaps.
o Collaborate with executive leadership to integrate change management into business strategy and decision-making processes.
- Change Management Framework:
o Establish and maintain a robust change management framework, tools, and methodologies that can be utilized across various projects.
o Tailor change management strategies to suit different organizational changes, including technology implementations and process improvements.
- Stakeholder Engagement:
o Identify and manage stakeholders, ensuring their engagement and support throughout the change process.
o Facilitate communication between all levels of staff regarding change initiatives, ensuring clarity and transparency
- Project Execution of Change Strategy and Plans:
o Define and drive the implementation of a well-structured Project Change Management Strategy and Plan.
o Lead and manage internal and external Change Management resources to ensure overall project, and specific initiative success.
- Change Enablement:
o Oversee the development and delivery of change management training and enablement programs for employees and leadership.
o Build change management capabilities across the organization.
o Work with the Program Leadership to ensure that the team, internal as well as external resources, are adequately trained and have the readiness and capability to deliver on their parts of the program.
- Monitoring and Evaluation:
o Establish metrics for measuring the success of change initiatives and analyze feedback and data to assess results.
o Continuously monitor the progress of change initiatives and adjust strategies as necessary to ensure success.
- Risk Management:
o Identify potential risks associated with change initiatives and develop mitigation strategies to address these risks proactively.
o Advise the organization on best practices for managing resistance and facilitating a smooth transition.
- Collaboration and Communication:
o Work closely with cross-functional teams, including business units and shared services, to ensure alignment and effective implementation of change initiatives.
o Provide regular updates to stakeholders and senior leadership on the status of change management efforts.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor s degree in Business Administration, Organizational Development, Psychology, or related field; Master s degree preferred.
- 10+ years of experience in change management, organizational development, or related fields.
- Proven experience leading change initiatives in complex environments.
- Strong understanding of change management principles, methodologies, and tools.
- Demonstrated ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and presentation skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Experience with project management and/or process improvement methodologies (e.g., Agile, Lean, Six Sigma) is a plus.
