Description
We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a Desktop Support Analyst in the travel agencies industry, located in New York. As a Desktop Support Analyst, you will be tasked with diagnosing and resolving hardware, operating system, and application issues. Your role also includes maintaining an accurate inventory of endpoint devices and providing recommendations for hardware improvements.
Responsibilities:
Diagnosing and resolving issues with hardware, operating system, applications, and peripherals both in-person and remotely.
Keeping an accurate inventory of endpoint devices and performing hardware upgrades when necessary.
Troubleshooting issues related to client server connectivity and permissions.
Providing round-the-clock support to resolve problems, prevent recurrence, and ensure continuity. This includes taking remote calls for off-shift, weekends, and holidays as assigned.
Accurately documenting Service Desk ticket status and resolution.
Completing special projects and additional responsibilities as needed.
Utilizing documentation, manuals, debugging tools, and logic to investigate and analyze problems.
Configuring new computers as per requirements.
Maintaining compliance responsibilities related to the position.
Requirements
Proficiency in Android Development, with a focus on troubleshooting and resolving software related issues.
Thorough understanding of Cisco Technologies, including the ability to configure and manage networking equipment.
Expertise in Citrix Technologies, including the setup, maintenance, and troubleshooting of virtual desktop infrastructures.
Familiarity with Computer Hardware, including the ability to diagnose and repair common hardware issues.
Experience with Dell Technologies, especially in terms of system setup, configuration, and maintenance.
Proficiency in managing and maintaining Active Directory, including user and group management.
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Apple Devices, including both hardware and software problems.
Experience with Backup Technologies, including the setup and maintenance of backup systems and data recovery.
Proficiency in Configuration Management, with the ability to ensure consistent and reliable system functionality.
