Description

We are looking for an experienced IAM System Engineer to join our team located in Glen Allen, Virginia. In this role, you will be responsible for the development and implementation of solutions and workflows for SailPoint IAM application integration. This role offers a long-term contract employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:
Develop solution automation and application integration workflow design for the SailPoint IAM solution.
Drive the implementation of various projects including SailPoint application onboarding, role-based access control, and access attestation process.
Collaborate with IT and business partners to improve the identity lifecycle process.
Provide recommendations to protect against known security threats and misconfigurations.
Gather and analyze business requirements to design and maintain appropriate access roles.
Collaborate with Enterprise Security IT and business partners to provide holistic access governance.
Assist with the delivery of strategic SailPoint IAM initiatives and solutions.
Analyze and resolve complex authentication integration and automation issues.
Refine joiner, mover, leaver provisioning processes across a variety of platforms and applications.
Influence IAM team efforts across the Information Security department and enterprise.

Requirements

Exceptional skills in Documentation, emphasizing clarity and comprehensibility.
Proven ability in Planning and Design, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness in project execution.
Demonstrated Leadership Skills, fostering teamwork and collaboration.
Proficient in Security, capable of safeguarding system integrity.
Experience with Vendors, establishing and managing detail oriented relationships.
Consultative approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
Familiarity with Onboarding procedures, facilitating smooth transitions for new hires.
Hands-on experience in Implementation and Automation, improving operational efficiency.
Engineering background, preferably in the field of Information Technology or related fields.
Proficiency in Optimization techniques, enhancing system performance.
Proficient in SQL and Active Directory, ensuring seamless database management and network services.
Working knowledge of Python and Java, maintaining and developing system applications.
Familiarity with Cloud Technologies, managing and overseeing cloud-based systems.
Experience in Construction, particularly in the context of system infrastructure.
Adherence to Best Practices, ensuring quality and consistency.
Proficient in Configuration Management, maintaining and enhancing system settings.
Experience in Migration, overseeing the transfer of data between systems.
Understanding of Authorizations, managing system access and privileges.
Ability to Ensure Compliance, adhering to industry regulations and standards.
Excellent Interpersonal Skills, promoting effective communication and collaboration.
Background in Financial Services, understanding industry needs and standards.
