We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for a Data Engineer in the Healthcare industry. Key Responsibilities:
- Data Architecture & Design: Develop and implement scalable and efficient data architectures using Snowflake, ensuring optimal performance, reliability, and security.
- ETL Processes: Design, build, and maintain ETL pipelines using Matillion to integrate data from various sources into Snowflake. Ensure data quality and consistency throughout the ETL process.
- Data Visualization: Create and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Tableau. Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their data needs and deliver actionable insights.
- Data Integration: Work with cross-functional teams to integrate data from multiple sources, ensuring accurate and timely availability for analysis and reporting.
- Performance Optimization: Monitor and optimize the performance of data pipelines and queries. Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues promptly.
- Collaboration: Partner with data scientists, analysts, and other stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver solutions that meet their needs.
- Documentation & Best Practices: Maintain comprehensive documentation of data architectures, ETL processes, and data models. Advocate for and implement best practices in data engineering.
- Innovation: Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies. Continuously evaluate and recommend improvements to our data infrastructure and tools.
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Experience: 5+ years of experience in data engineering or a related field, with a strong focus on Snowflake, Matillion, and Tableau.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency with Snowflake for data warehousing and analytics.
- Expertise in building and managing ETL workflows using Matillion.
- Advanced skills in Tableau for creating complex visualizations and dashboards.
- Solid understanding of SQL and data modeling principles.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex data issues.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Teamwork: Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
