Description

We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for a Data Engineer in the Healthcare industry. As a Senior Data Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and maintaining our data infrastructure. You will work with cutting-edge technologies, including Snowflake, Tableau, and Matillion, to ensure that our data systems are robust, scalable, and aligned with business objectives. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality data solutions that empower data-driven decision-making across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Data Architecture & Design: Develop and implement scalable and efficient data architectures using Snowflake, ensuring optimal performance, reliability, and security.
  • ETL Processes: Design, build, and maintain ETL pipelines using Matillion to integrate data from various sources into Snowflake. Ensure data quality and consistency throughout the ETL process.
  • Data Visualization: Create and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Tableau. Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their data needs and deliver actionable insights.
  • Data Integration: Work with cross-functional teams to integrate data from multiple sources, ensuring accurate and timely availability for analysis and reporting.
  • Performance Optimization: Monitor and optimize the performance of data pipelines and queries. Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues promptly.
  • Collaboration: Partner with data scientists, analysts, and other stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver solutions that meet their needs.
  • Documentation & Best Practices: Maintain comprehensive documentation of data architectures, ETL processes, and data models. Advocate for and implement best practices in data engineering.
  • Innovation: Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies. Continuously evaluate and recommend improvements to our data infrastructure and tools.


Requirements

Qualifications:
  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in data engineering or a related field, with a strong focus on Snowflake, Matillion, and Tableau.
  • Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency with Snowflake for data warehousing and analytics.
  • Expertise in building and managing ETL workflows using Matillion.
  • Advanced skills in Tableau for creating complex visualizations and dashboards.
  • Solid understanding of SQL and data modeling principles.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex data issues.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Teamwork: Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
