Tundra Federal is seeking a Senior MBSE Engineer to join a fast-paced program supporting the United States Air Force. The candidate will be responsible for developing and executing automated test cases for a Cameo (MBSE) model of a complex network. The candidate ensures that the model accurately represents the network and its behavior under various scenarios. In addition, the candidate must ensure that the MBSE model documents all project requirements and that the model is available to assist key stakeholders verify, test and/or simulate different aspects of the project. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in MBSE, a detailed understanding of network architecture, experience in automated testing, and experience with quality assurance and business continuity functions.

Responsibilities
- Develop Automated Test Cases: Create comprehensive and automated test cases in collaboration with the network architect and lead MBSE engineer. Ensure tests cover all critical aspects of the network model, including performance, functionality, and reliability.
- Execute and Monitor Tests: Run automated tests, monitor their execution, and analyze results. Identify any issues, discrepancies, or improvements in the network model.
- Test Planning and Strategy Development: Develop a structured test plan and strategy that aligns with project objectives and timelines. Ensure comprehensive coverage of all critical network aspects and 100% requirements traceability.
- Ensure Model Availability and Readiness: Guarantee that the model is always available and ready for testing whenever stakeholders require. This involves maintaining the model's current state, ensuring its stability, and preparing it for immediate execution of tests.
- Report Generation and Documentation: Document test procedures, findings, and outcomes. Generate detailed reports for the team and stakeholders, highlighting any potential issues and recommendations for model improvements.
- Continuous Improvement: Continuously review and improve test cases, methodologies, and tools to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the testing process.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure that the network model meets all quality standards and requirements through rigorous and thorough testing.
Qualifications
- 3-year experience with Cameo and at least 2 years creating test cases within Cameo using scripts to interact with models, set parameters, execute model behaviors, and log results.
- 3-year experience with configuring and/or managing a WAN with proven hands-on experience in routers, switches, firewalls, VPN and Network Interface Cards.
- Proven experience in automated testing methodologies, such as Model Based Testing (MBT) with SysML, by generating testcases automatically from the model.
- Familiarity with quality assurance practices and business continuity functions.
- Proven experience working with Agile methodologies.
- SysML Model Builder Fundamental Certification (or equivalent).
- Secret security clearance.
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with GNS3 emulations and appliance configuration.
- Experience with the Cameo API to integrate with external tools, perform model validation and test report generation.
- Experience with Design of Experiments (DOE) to narrow test scope and cost.
- Continuous Integration and Continuous Development CI/CD Pipeline Automation for Networks.
- Experience with SD-WAN, Zero Trust, and SASE highly preferred.
