Job Description
This position will be responsible for partnering with customers to identify analytical business solutions, using a variety of data and visualization tools to build and implement data models that provide actionable insights, and presenting complex analysis in clear and understandable terms to customers at all levels of the company. The ideal candidate will be resourceful and intellectually curious, have a strong team-based attitude and work ethic, and must be able to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Core Responsibilities
- Design, develop, implement and manage data models and visualizations that identify trends and provide actionable insights to drive and support key business decisions.
- Use data visualization tools to create user-friendly, intuitive, and visually effective dashboards and reports, personalized for the relevant audience
- Monitor and maintain dashboards for data accuracy, reliability and performance
- Deliver training and support to relevant audiences on using the dashboards effectively
- Demonstrate deep care for the ethical implications of working with employee data and ensure team compliance with privacy and legal regulations
- Communicate and present analysis and complex ideas in easily understood terms.
- Build relationships with stakeholders throughout the organization to identify opportunities for leveraging analytics to drive business solutions.
- Participate in industry and other professional networks to ensure awareness of industry standards, trends, and best practices in order to strengthen organizational and technical knowledge.
- Education Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, Business or other related quantitative field.
Relevant Work Experience/Qualifications
Required
- More than three years of relevant employment experience in an analytical field.
- Advanced proficiency and experience with Excel, SQL, PowerPoint.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, proactively identify trends, and provide actionable insights through data storytelling and visualizations.
- Experience using data visualization tools (e.g. Oracle Analytics Cloud, Power BI, Tableau, R Shiny), including how to clean, transform and aggregate data to create meaningful insights.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with strong customer focus and a high level of accuracy.
- Excellent verbal/written communication and presentation skills with the ability to present complex data insights in an understandable manner to key stakeholders.
- Superior attention to detail and ability to manage highly confidential information.
- Demonstrated flexibility and ability to handle multiple tasks and assignments while working under tight deadlines.
Preferred Experience
- Knowledge of HR processes and metrics.
- Experience using statistical computer languages (e.g. Python, SPSS, R).
- Experience manipulating data sets and building statistical models.
- Holds a professional certification or experience in Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence.
- Familiar with Oracle Analytics Cloud Solution
