Senior Global Market Development Manager, Cell Therapy

Join Thermo Fisher Scientific as the Senior Global Market Development Manager for Cell Therapy. Drive growth in the Cell Therapy vertical by leading marketing strategies and campaigns, uncovering market insights, and enabling customer-centric demand generation programs. Experience in cell therapy manufacturing and tools is preferred, along with the ability to collaborate in a global matrix organization.

What will you do?

  • Develop and implement strategic marketing plans and campaigns for the Cell Therapy business, at both the business and portfolio levels, to drive growth and market penetration.
  • Craft differentiated value propositions, market positioning, and messaging to elevate brand awareness and portfolio relevance in the marketplace.
  • Lead market research initiatives to uncover customer needs and market trends, synthesizing these insights into actionable business strategies.
  • Design and lead demand generation programs with a focus on marketing qualified leads, pipeline growth, sales velocity, and revenue generation.
  • Partner with product management, R&D, and sales teams to support new product introductions, sales enablement, and ensure alignment of business priorities with marketing strategies.
  • Act as a key customer advocate, engaging directly with customers to understand their challenges and translate these into strategic marketing plans.
  • Collaborate closely with the CCCT global market development team and across the Bioproduction Group (BPG) on global campaigns and programs.
  • Use data-driven decision-making to continuously optimize marketing efforts and ensure return on investment.


How you will get there!

  • Bachelor's degree required, Life Sciences area preferred.
  • 10+ years of marketing experience in the life sciences market, preferably with direct experience in cell therapy manufacturing, tools, consumables, and reagents.
  • Strong understanding of the cell therapy ecosystem and market trends.
  • Proven expertise in developing and driving comprehensive marketing strategies, value propositions, and portfolio messaging.
  • Proven track record to lead market research projects and leverage insights to drive business growth.
  • Strong experience in demand generation and pipeline development, with measurable success in driving revenue.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret complex data to inform decision-making and optimize marketing investments.
  • Experience working cross-functionally in a global, matrixed organization.
  • Experience working closely with market development, product management, R&D, and sales teams.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to prioritize effectively.
  • Committed, diligent, and emotionally resourceful, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.


Compensation and Benefits

The salary range estimated for this position based in Massachusetts is $130,000.00-$175,000.00.
