Job Details

ITCON Services is seeking to hire a motivated and knowledgeable Azure IT Manager to join our team. ITCON Services is seeking a self-motivated, service-oriented IT professional to assume an IT Manager role in IT engineering and operations as part of a team of IT professionals operating in a flexible/hybrid work arrangement to provide Help Desk and operational support 7-days per week. The ideal candidate will be eager for professional development and thus will welcome daily challenges as opportunities to develop oneself and to make ITCON operations more efficient, scalable and robust.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement scalable, secure, and reliable cloud solutions using Microsoft Azure
  • Manage and monitor cloud infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and availability
  • Automate cloud operations and workflows using tools like PowerShell, and Power Automate
  • Ensure the security and compliance of cloud environment in accordance with industry standards
  • Troubleshoot and resolve cloud-related issues in a timely manner
  • Collaborate with IT and Business stakeholders to align cloud solutions with business goals
  • Optimize cloud performance and cost through continuous monitoring and improvement
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for cloud-based systems and processes
  • Perform server administration tasks including but not limited to regular patching, hardening/securing virtual machines, resource monitoring, and research events log warnings, and errors
  • Manage and monitor network infrastructure to ensure 100% network availability across the board
  • Monitor network traffic, and configure rules to minimize exposure
  • Configure, manage, and monitor endpoint deployments utilizing Windows Autopilot
  • Configure, and deploy patches to endpoints utilizing Microsoft Endpoint Manager
  • Administer, and manage user account creation in O365 admin center
  • Administer license counts, and billing profiles within O365 admin center, and partner center
  • Utilize Microsoft Defender for Endpoint to remediate vulnerabilities discovered within the organization
  • Leverage Microsoft Purview to govern, protect, and manage data across the organization
  • Assist the team with incident resolution, and respond to service requests
  • Partner with internal departments and external partners to communicate project status and activities
  • Establish and maintain strong vendor relationships for procurement of IT hardware and software
  • Maintain IT equipment inventory utilizing asset management tools
  • Plan and support internal and external auditing and governance activities

Qualifications -Bachelor's degree in information technology or a related/comparable technical field

Required Skills:

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in enterprise-worthy (secure, scalable and SLA-managed) cloud operations ( Microsoft Azure experience is required; any AWS and Google Cloud Platform experience is a big plus)
  • Strong knowledge of cloud architecture and design principles , and virtualization and container technologies
  • Expert in Windows, MAC, and Linux operating systems with strong configuration and troubleshooting skills
  • Knowledge of CMMC and ISO requirements
  • Proficiency in scripting and automation
  • Proficiency in Mobile Device Management (MDM), including Microsoft Intune
  • Understanding of cloud security best practices and compliance requirements
  • Excellent problem solving and communication skills
  • Familiarity with ITSM tools solutions such as: ManageEngine, and ServiceNow
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Real-life experience with or working knowledge of various enterprise-worthy (secure, scalable, and centrally manageable) remote access, remote desktop and remote work technologies and solutions, including, Remote Desktop (e.g., Azure RDP and VDI), VPN. cloud-based tools and applications (e.g., web applications and MS Office 365) and thin-clients in corporate or government (e.g., federal agency) environments
  • Certifications in Microsoft 365, and Microsoft Azure e.g.: Microsoft 365 Certified: Administrator Expert, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert
  • Must be willing to work: A flexible schedule on a regular basis, including extended hours, evenings, weekends and the occasional holiday as business needs require (e.g., weekend and evening Help Desk support), At least three (3) days of the week in the office

Preferred Skills:

Experience and skills in the following tools, technologies, products, etc.: Cisco UCX (call center platform) and Cisco Meraki (Networking), Ubiquity products (Wired/Wireless Networking, Access Control and Security), Azure/Microsoft Power Platform and Visual Studio, Domo, Tableau and similar reporting and data analytics tools/technologies, Conferencing (Polycom, Surface Hub, etc.), Probo, Git, GitHub, Jira and other DevOps and collaboration, CI/CD, etc. tools and systems, Drupal, SharePoint and other content- and knowledge-management products, On-premises and cloud databases (MS SQL, Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL, etc. and their present-day cloud analogs/counterparts)
