Job Details

Title: Data Scientist

Location: Southeastern Region / Hybrid
Employment Type: Full-Time/Perm

Description:
* The Data Scientist is responsible for leveraging data analytics and machine learning techniques to uncover patterns, build predictive models, and deliver actionable insights to address complex business challenges.
* This role involves preprocessing diverse datasets, developing algorithms, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement data-driven solutions.

Responsibilities:
* Identify and automate data collection from various sources.
* Preprocess and analyze structured and unstructured datasets.
* Build predictive models, machine-learning algorithms, and ensemble models.
* Use data visualization tools to present insights and trends.
* Develop solutions for challenges including customer segmentation, forecasting, and price optimization.
* Implement models for image recognition, text classification, and natural language processing.
* Communicate findings effectively to stakeholders through visualizations and reports.
* Collaborate with engineering and product teams to deliver data-driven strategies.
* Follow an agile methodology to ensure timely project completion.

Required Skills:
* Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as Mathematics, Computer Science, or Applied Statistics.
* At least 3 years of experience in predictive analytics, natural language processing, or computer vision.
* Knowledge of statistical techniques, machine learning algorithms, and deep learning frameworks.
* Programming expertise in one or more languages commonly used in data science.
* Experience implementing deep learning models for image and document classification.
* Strong self-motivation and ability to meet deadlines.

Desired Skills:
* Familiarity with advanced tools for data analysis and visualization.
* Experience working with big data frameworks and technologies.
* Expertise in modeling techniques for business applications, including customer targeting and churn analysis.
