Description

We are inviting applications for the role of Cloud Engineer in the banking industry. This position is based in Columbus, Ohio, and offers an exciting opportunity to join our dynamic team. The role primarily involves configuring, administering, and optimizing cloud platforms and systems within our corporate network.

Responsibilities:
Designing, implementing, and maintaining cloud services and infrastructure, including data management and recovery systems.
Administering and optimizing cloud platforms within the corporate network.
Managing and rectifying issues in cloud platforms and serverless delivery systems.
Overseeing the operation of virtual machines and operating systems.
Incorporating third-party cloud integrations.
Leveraging automation and service-based technologies to enhance system efficiency.
Keeping abreast of emerging technologies to support and optimize cloud-based environments.
Implementing serverless solutions to improve overall system performance.
Ensuring robustness of cloud services and systems.
Maintaining and enhancing the performance of data recovery tools.

Requirements

Proven experience in the banking industry.
Demonstrable skills in Azure.
Proficiency in working with Office 365.
Practical knowledge of Intune.
Strong understanding of Cloud-based infrastructure.
Degree in Computer Science or similar field.
Experience in implementing, managing, and servicing Cloud architecture.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle pressure.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
Familiarity with industry's latest trends and technologies.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Willingness to keep up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends in Cloud computing.
Flexibility to adapt to changes in the banking industry and technology.
