Job Description

We are looking for a skilled DevOps Engineer with strong experience in CI/CD pipelines and enterprise-level software deployment. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in Linux administration, configuration management, and software automation. A passion for building quality software and enabling developers is essential. You will leverage your technical expertise to identify gaps and propose scalable solutions while contributing to a collaborative team environment.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • CI/CD Pipeline Management: Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines to ensure seamless software deployment and integration processes.
  • Configuration Management: Utilize internal configuration management tools and GitHub/GitHub Enterprise for version control and automation of deployment processes.
  • Enterprise Software Operations: Deploy, operate, and maintain enterprise-level software systems, ensuring high availability and performance.
  • Scripting and Automation: Develop scripts and automation tools using languages such as Golang, Python, Ruby, or Rust to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
  • Quality Software Development: Cultivate a culture of quality software development, focusing on enabling developers to quickly iterate on their ideas.
  • Gap Analysis and Solution Proposal: Identify gaps in existing processes and propose scalable, enterprise-grade solutions to enhance performance and automation.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with development teams, providing support and fostering strong communication and organizational skills.

 

Qualifications

  • Strong experience with CI/CD pipelines and configuration management tools.
  • Proficiency in GitHub/GitHub Enterprise or equivalent version control systems.
  • Experience in deploying, operating, and maintaining enterprise-level software systems.
  • Solid Linux administration skills.
  • Expertise in at least one programming language: Golang, Python, Ruby, or Rust.
  • A strong interest in building quality software and enabling developer efficiency.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Open-mindedness to new ideas, embracing the principle of "Strong Opinions, Weakly Held."
