Job Description
As a Sr. Project Manager, you will direct and manage healthcare projects to achieve client satisfaction in accordance with the firm s vision statement and policies. This position requires experience in the healthcare market in California. (OSHPD EXP. A MUST)
Job Qualifications
The Sr. Project Manager will be responsible for managing design and construction projects and construction services provided by outside contractors.
MUST HAVE HOSPITAL CONSTRUCTION AND OSHPD EXPERIENCE
Will report to the Director and operate as the main point of contact with the Owner (and/or Owner s Representatives) to develop and maintain the best possible professional relationship and understand the client s goals and expectations.
Communicate with clients, our design teams, construction contractors, agencies, and other project stakeholders to achieve project success for all.
Knowledge of Joint Commission, OSHPD Administrative Code, applicable NFPA Codes, and California Building Codes as applied to ongoing planning, alteration, and renovation projects and the ability to successfully work with governmental agencies.
Detailed knowledge of all aspects of building systems and codes sufficient to plan, direct and manage projects incorporating sophisticated designs.
This position requires working knowledge of construction trade practices and safety requirements sufficient to manage all phases of project planning, construction and renovation.
Skill in managing all administrative and technical aspects of construction and alteration projects in a medical healthcare environment.
Knowledge in Project Controls ( Math / Accounting).
Demonstrated skill in using a PC with related software including MS Office Suite, CAD, Access, Primavera (P6), Procore, Sega, etc....
Ability to exercise sound time-management skills, control projects and work proactively to mitigate complications that may jeopardize project productivity.
Proven ability to manage situations in the face resistance or indifference with regards to project planning and technical building systems.
Proven ability to communicate on a one-to-one basis or in a group setting to obtain or convey accurate and correct information.
Skill in long and short term planning. Analytical ability to problem solve with permanent and temporary solutions under adversity, including times of crises.
Knowledge of acute inpatient, outpatient and clinic healthcare patient
Demonstrated history of success in leading a team and managing a multiple project, including the ability to monitor, adjust and maintain scope, schedule and budget for medium to large size projects under multiple delivery methods, such as Design Assist, Design Build, Design/Bid/Build, etc.
Detailed oriented with excellent language skills and grammar accuracy.
The ability to travel and/ or relocate may be required.

Requirements
MS/BS Degree - Civil engineering, Construction Management, Architecture or closely related professional field from an accredited program.
15 + years of healthcare and OSHPD experience in California.
(Registration as a PE or an Architect in CA. a plus)
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $150,000.00 - $225,000.00 per year
