Job Details

Position: Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA) Engineer
Location: San Francisco Bay Area( Hybrid Role)
Duration: 6 Months (Contract to Hire)

Responsibilities:

  • Analyzing network activity: Evaluating network and system activity for anomalies related to network security and ZTNA
  • Installing and configuring technologies: Installing and configuring selected technologies
  • Collaborating with teams: Working with teams to design solutions that meet security, resiliency, and reusability standards
  • Providing support: Providing support for production issues, off-hour implementations, and disaster recovery tests
  • Documenting systems: Authoring system documentation and supporting documents for ZTNA solutions
  • Participating in decision-making: Participating in technical decision-making processes to deliver business outcomes
  • Analyzing business requirements: Analyzing changing business requirements to define the technical architecture
  • Applying technology knowledge: Applying knowledge of technology trends to decision-making

Skills:

  • Principles of zero trust: These include never trusting, always verifying, and assuming breach.
  • Security policies: ZTNA requires that all requests undergo approved security policies, even if they originate from within the network perimeter.
  • Multi-factor authentication: ZTNA can include additional security measures like multi-factor authentication.
    Allow list access: ZTNA requires that access is only granted if explicitly allowed.
  • Continuous monitoring: ZTNA requires continuous monitoring and validation of users, and any changes to their identity or security posture must be reevaluated.
