Amentum is now hiring for several Training Specialist (Intermediate) positions in support of the Product Director Sensors - Aerial Intelligence (PD SAI) office at Aberdeen Proving Grounds, MD and Ft Belvoir, VA. This project will provide the U.S. Army, U.S. Army Program Executive Office Intelligence, Electronic Warfare and Sensors (PEO IEW&S) services to include programmatic/business management services, engineering support services, and acquisition / administrative support services to augment PD SAI core Government personnel and turn-key solutions to support the missions of PD SAI and its associated Product Managers and customers. This support will be conducted in close coordination with Government project leads within PD SAI.

HIRING SALARY RANGE: $180,000 - $199,000 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities of the applicant internal equity, and alignment with market data.).

The candidate will work closely with the client to perform the following:
- Provides training for PD SAI program training devices, computer programming, electronics, and networks to those who will be using and supporting such items.
- Develops training materials and conducts classes in proper operation and maintenance procedures to PD SAI programs and various agencies within the Department of Defense.
- Provides resident and on-site technical assistance and training (both platform and hands-on) in the operation and maintenance of assigned systems and associate items to gaining audits/installations in/from CONUS and OCONUS locations.
- Instructs on the theory of operation along with Operation of the complete system to include electronics, computer programming, and analysis of malfunction reports, system trouble shooting, and repair up to depot level.
- Prepares new training materials to include lesson plans, POIs, student guides/workbooks, training aids, etc.
- Establishes early and continuous working relationships with project managers, contractors, subcontractors, and appropriate development and production activities during the development of training materials.
- Maintains the training materials in a current, up-to-date condition, working closely with maintenance and engineering.
- Provides responses and answers to questions/problems from the field.
- Other duties as assigned.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business or other related field. (4 years of direct relevant experience may be substituted for education).
- Minimum of 5 years of training experience in military systems (4 years military service, E6 or higher, may be considered as military training experience).
- Must have an active Secret Clearance. Please note ship is required to obtain a Secret Government Clearance.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Demonstrated ability in Microsoft systems (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Past experience working in PD SAI or PEO IEW&S systems / projects.
