Job Title: Oracle Cloud SCM Functional Consultant
Location: San Jose, CA (Remote)
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Oracle Cloud SCM Functional Consultant to fill a critical backfill position on a dynamic, long-term project. This role requires a deep understanding of Oracle Cloud SCM, with a particular emphasis on Order Management (OM), Inventory (INV), and Purchasing (PO) modules. The ideal candidate will possess strong solution design expertise within the OM module, including proven experience in backlog management. This is a fully remote role based in San Jose, CA, with occasional travel as needed.
Responsibilities:
Lead and contribute to the functional implementation of Oracle Cloud SCM solutions, focusing on OM, INV, and PO modules.
Design and configure solutions within the Oracle Cloud OM module, addressing complex business requirements and ensuring seamless integration with other modules.
Develop and implement effective backlog management strategies within the OM module to optimize order fulfillment processes.
Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements, analyze business processes, and translate them into functional specifications.
Conduct gap analysis and propose solutions to address any discrepancies between business needs and Oracle Cloud SCM functionality.
Configure and test Oracle Cloud SCM applications, ensuring they meet business requirements and performance standards.
Provide functional support to end-users, troubleshooting issues and providing guidance on best practices.
Stay up-to-date with the latest Oracle Cloud SCM features and functionalities.
Contribute to project documentation, including functional specifications, test plans, and user manuals.
Qualifications:
16+ years of overall IT experience.
10+ years of hands-on functional experience with Oracle Cloud SCM modules (OM, INV, PO).
3+ years of specific experience implementing and configuring Oracle Cloud SCM.
Essential: Demonstrated expertise in solution design within the Oracle Cloud OM module, including proven experience in backlog management.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
