User Acceptance Tester III

What we're seeking:

The UAT Tester III effectively supports testing throughout a project or sprint's lifecycle, leading testing efforts, coordinating cross-functionally within sprints or projects, and advocating to ensure that features and products released to production align with Frontier's user experience expectations and business requirements.

Additionally, the UAT tester III is expected to autonomously manage testing efforts, demonstrating adaptability and ability to lead across various systems and domains with little to no supervision. In this in-person role, you will be required to report to either our Dallas, TX, or Tampa, FL location to complete your work responsibilities.

What you'll do:
  • Creates and maintains user acceptance test/business scenarios for projects
  • Designing, creating, and executing UAT test cases
  • Defect management, as appropriate, ensuring all proper steps are complete including screenshots, order flow, and components
  • Reviews and triages defects with various teams to determine potential impacts on the success of projects
  • Work collaboratively with internal leadership as well as IT leadership to prioritize and resolve issues
  • Retrieve or create testing data to satisfy testing needs
  • Ability to train other testers on the Tester 3's assigned area or system
  • Ensure work is completed timely for each sprint for various scrum teams, writing acceptance criteria, and scoring stories in conjunction with the cross-functional team
  • Actively collaborate with a team of specialists where you share your skills while learning from others
  • Learn as you progress through agile ceremonies to constantly seek improved processes
  • Effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment with a strong customer and employee focus
  • Maintain key documentation and look for innovative ways to automate testing and reduce redundancy
  • Design and create automated testing scripts

What background you should have:
  • Demonstrate an understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle and specifically the UAT process and test methodologies
  • Demonstrate understanding of formal software test design techniques
  • Highly preferred working SQL experience
  • Experience with order flow through various stages to fully state potential downstream impacts
  • Able to host demo calls with developers and work in real-time for an immediate feedback loop, correction, and retests
  • Provide trace reports and API trails to developers to reduce retest scenarios
  • Requires flexible working hours, including a rotation of nights, overnights, weekends, and split shifts
  • Three or more years of experience writing test plans, processes, and test cases in AccelQ or a similar tool
  • Five or more years of experience with agile teams
