Job Details

Role: AWS DevOps Engineer
Location: Remote
Duration: Full time
An AWS DevOps Engineer for a Cloud operations program. The Individual should be passionate about technology, experienced in developing and managing cutting edge technology applications.
Technical Skills:

  • 5-7 years of experience in IT Industry with track record as Cloud/DevOps/Kubernetes SME/Consultant

  • Must have expertise and experience AWS Cloud operations

  • Leverage infrastructure-as-code frameworks (Terraform) to provision and maintain cloud resources

  • Managing Infrastructure as Code - Terraform, CloudFormation,

  • Experience an implementing and maintaining cloud policies and guardrails.

  • Identify, Build, and manage clusters automations for cloud operations excellence including reporting dashboards

  • Work with development teams to migrate applications to containers

  • Strong knowledge of DevOps Platforms and tools

  • Experience in one or more configuration management and automation tools - Ansible, Chef, Puppet

  • Experience in Scripting languages. (Python/PowerShell)

  • Strong knowledge in various Storage technologies - Object Store, NFS, SANs (S3, EMC/HPE)

  • Monitoring ELK Stack, Grafana, Dynatrace, Datadog.

  • Application security (B2C, B2B , SAML , OAuth)

  • Perform environmental analysis to identify architectural improvement opportunities.

  • Work on complex/long running issues or projects.

  • Ability to create, contribute, and implement best practices in Cloud Operations.

  • Detailed expertise in common infra. Activities (i.e. Patch Mgt., Migrations, Upgrades, Assessments etc.)

Process Skills:

  • Performed consultative engagements independently like environmental assessments/estate wide remediation plan.

  • Has exposure to support and capability building activities.

  • Keeping abreast of industry trends, technology innovation, and changing customer requirements to help with the continual service improvement.

Behavioral Skills:

  • Effective interpersonal, team building and communication skills.

Certification:

  • Certification AWS Certified DevOps Associate / Professional.
