BMC Remedy Technician

Location: Must be located in either Las Vegas, NV; Reno, NV; Portland, OR; Salt Lake City, UT; Omaha, NE; Des Moines, IA; Davenport, IA; or Richmond, VA

Duration: 6-Month Contract to Hire

Responsibilities/Job Duties/Job Description/Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with BMC Remedy ITSM administration, container platforms, and digital workplace workflows. This role involves managing the ticket queue, developing digital workplace forms, troubleshooting system issues, and supporting various ITSM processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer and support BMC Remedy ITSM system.
• Develop and manage digital workplace forms and workflows.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues within the BMC Remedy system, including change management and incident workflows.
• Work with customers to gather requirements and build solutions to meet their needs.
• Support and maintain the CMDB, including data reconciliation and transformation.
• Collaborate with team members to enhance system functionality and leverage new features.
• Provide support for multi-cloud broker integrations and container platforms.
• Participate in system upgrades and ensure smooth transitions. Required Skills:
• Extensive experience with BMC Remedy ITSM administration.
• Proficiency in container platforms (e.g., TKGI).
• Strong understanding of digital workplace workflows and automation.
• Experience with SQL and PowerShell scripting.
• Ability to work with customers to gather requirements and develop solutions.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with multi-cloud broker integrations.
• Familiarity with Power BI reporting.
• Knowledge of CMDB processes and data reconciliation.
