Job Description:
Apex Systems is looking to hire an ONSITE Quality Engineer for our client based out of Kings Mountain, NC.
This assignment is anticipated to be a 6-month contract with strong potential for extension or conversion; however, Apex Systems cannot guarantee the length of this assignment. This will also have a first shift Monday-Friday schedule.

Job Description:
Apex Systems is looking to hire an ONSITE Quality Engineer for our client based out of Kings Mountain, NC.

Responsibilities:
- Serve as a Subject Matter Expert in core Quality Processes integrated into the production floor.
- Maintain and uphold internal processes while implementing best practices.
- Utilize strong interpersonal and teamwork skills to ensure acceptance and understanding of quality concepts.
- Advocate for premium quality by representing customer interests.
- Develop and implement quality assurance processes and tools.
- Coordinate quality training efforts.
- Develop engineering solutions to address repetitive failures and other quality issues affecting plant operations.
- Conduct data and statistical analysis.
- Implement Lean Manufacturing and Root Cause Analysis methods.
- Manage and maintain Failure Reporting, Analysis, and Corrective Action Systems.
Experience:
- 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
- BS in Quality, Manufacturing, or Product Engineering preferred.
- CQE (Certified Quality Engineer) and/or Six Sigma Yellow or higher preferred.
- Proven ability to react to production issues with urgency, assess problems, develop action plans, and follow through to completion.
