Summary
Gainwell Technologies is seeking an experienced Infrastructure Engineer to maintain and upgrade IT infrastructure within a data center environment. The role involves tasks such as cabling and racking servers, implementing security measures, and optimizing IT performance. The ideal candidate will work closely with other IT professionals to ensure systems meet organizational needs and business goals. Key technologies include Cisco IOS, VMware, Linux, and Windows, as well as experience with ITIL v4 and ServiceNow frameworks.

Your role in our mission
- Maintain and upgrade IT infrastructure, manage security, and optimize performance.
- Work with VMware, Linux, and Windows operating systems, and Cisco networking equipment.
- Install and evaluate third-party software, improve systems, and create technical documentation.
- Collaborate with system developers, testers, and network engineers to enhance processing efficiency.
- Ensure adherence to standard methodologies and project management concepts.
- Participate in off-hours on-call duty and support team collaboration.
What we're looking for
- 5+ years of experience with Linux/Unix, VMware, Windows, Cisco Catalyst and UCS, and Checkpoint Firewalls.
- Strong skills in TCP/IP, NFS, and shell scripting (Powershell, Bash, Python).
- Ability to mentor others and solve complex system problems.
- Excellent communication and customer support skills.
