Position Summary

Platform Automation is focusing on building automations and frameworks to support enterprise users in Google Cloud Platform. The team proactively identifies automation opportunities, process optimizations and build robust solutions to bring efficiency to the platform. This team's objective is to build solutions that are easy enough for anybody to use.

The role will be of a full stack developer who will use google platform and Google Cloud Platform services like BiqQuery, Python, Composer, Dataflow, GKE, pub-sub etc to build automations and will be able to build applications using React js.

The candidate will be required to do the following
  • Develop proof of concepts and adopt an API driven approach for automation.
  • Design and implement robust automations
  • Design and build user friendly UI screens
  • Performs QA testing on the application and automation after build
  • Supports the application after production move
  • Documents relevant decisions, design etc for future reference
  • Participate in Agile scrum activities/project status meetings on regular basis.
  • Participate in User story grooming/Design discussion with technical lead.

Required Qualifications
  • 2+ years hands on experience on one or more programing languages such as Python, PySpark, Java
  • 2+ Experience building APIs in Python or any programming language is a must
  • 2+ years hands on experience in Reactjs or Nodejs
  • Strong SQL skills
  • Hands-on Experience with a major cloud platform (Google Cloud Platform, AWS, Azure)
  • Strong knowledge of Cloud architecture & tools in designing & optimizing processes.
  • Experience in building automations and UI applications

Preferred Qualifications
  • Google Cloud Platform Experience - BigQuery, Cloud SQL, Python, Cloud composer/Airflow , Spanner, Cloud Shell, HDFS , Hive , GCS , Dataflow/Data Fusion, DataProc.
  • Google Cloud Platform - Data Engineer certification preferred(Any certification is added advantage)
  • Strong problem-solving skills and critical thinking ability
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills within and across teams
  • Knowledge of Health care industry is a plus.
  • Ability to understand complex systems and solve challenging analytical problems.
  • Ability to communicate technical ideas and results to non-technical clients in written and verbal form.
  • Proven ability to create innovative solutions to highly complex technical problems.
  • Work experience on Google Cloud Platform ecosystem. Work experience on building CICD enabled pipelines.

Education

Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline. Master's degree preferred

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$72,100.00 - $144,200.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
