Apple / Mac Administrator - JAMF Pro

Amentum is seeking an Apple / Mac Administrator - JAMF Pro to provide support with the Apple Ecosystem to include hardware and software to join our team and support our Washington, DC customer. We are looking for team members who are passionate about making a difference by working on critical efforts we manage as a premier government contractor.

Responsibilities:

• Be responsible for providing back-end engineering support on MAC operating systems.
  
• Interface with senior government personnel on a daily basis.
  
• Respond to and resolve end user issues that require advanced knowledge of Apple or iOS systems.
  
• Update the status of queued service requests with the IT service management system.
  
• Evaluate, design, document, install, implement, test, perform problem isolation and resolution, monitor, tune, set standards and maintain a complex range of computer network components and systems.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 5 years of experience providing engineering support, specializing in Apple hardware and MAC operating systems
  
• Proven experience should include some of the following:
  
  • Automation with several aspects of JAMF
    
  • Engineering solutions to manual tasks
    
  • Security focused with experience in implementing DISA STIG Profiles
    
  • Creating EXT Attributes in JAMF
    
  • Adobe applications, packaging, troubleshooting, license management
    
  • Quickly assisting users and solving complex macOS related issues
    
  • Apple Script, bash/shell scripting
    
  • FileVault 2 Enterprise Management
    
  • VPN Configuration Profiles
    
  • Working with PLIST and JSON files
    
• Proficiency with the English language
  
• Ability to investigate, troubleshoot, and design solutions to problems in operational hardware and software as needed
  
• Must be able to obtain and maintain facility credentials/authorization. Note: ship is required forfacility credentials/authorization at this work location.
  

Preferred Qualifications:

• JAMF certification and/or other Apple Certifications
