Description

We are looking for a skilled Desktop Support Analyst to join our team in Memphis, Tennessee. This Contract-to-permanent role is ideal for someone with a strong technical background who can manage hardware setups, troubleshoot systems, and provide efficient support for technical issues. The position requires expertise in computer hardware, networking, and server systems.

Responsibilities:
Configure, install, and maintain computer hardware and peripherals, ensuring optimal performance.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues with laser jet printers and network-connected printing devices.
Manage and address service tickets using established ticketing systems, such as Service Desk Plus or similar platforms.
Provide support for camera systems, including troubleshooting and maintenance of the Alibi system.
Run and install network cabling, with a preference for candidates experienced in Cat5 setups.
Monitor and support Windows servers, ensuring system reliability and performance.
Collaborate with team members to maintain organized administrative processes related to technical operations.
Diagnose and resolve issues related to DNS and DHCP configurations within the network.
Assist in maintaining a secure and efficient IT environment by adhering to best practices and standards.

Requirements

Proven experience with computer hardware setup, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
Familiarity with laser jet printers and network printer configurations.
Hands-on experience with ticketing systems, such as Service Desk Plus or similar platforms.
Knowledge of camera systems, including troubleshooting and maintenance expertise.
Ability to install and manage Cat5 network cabling.
Solid understanding of DNS and DHCP protocols and their configurations.
Strong background in supporting and managing Windows servers.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail in administrative tasks.
