Job Title: Product Electrical Engineer
Location: North Austin, TX (On-site, weekdays with occasional Saturdays)
Job Summary:
A manufacturing company in North Austin, Texas, seeks a Product Development Electrical Engineer. This role involves designing and optimizing electrical systems, PLC programming, controls, harnesses, and software. Responsibilities include ensuring compliance with regulations, collaborating with product management, and contributing to manufacturing optimization and quality initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and optimize electrical systems and software for heavy equipment
- Ensure compliance with federal regulations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for system integration
- Optimize production processes and reduce costs
- Participate in quality management and continuous improvement initiatives
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering
- Experience in electrical systems design, PLC programming, controls, and harnesses for heavy equipment
- Familiarity with manufacturing processes
- Experience with SAE J1939 protocol and Parker IQAN systems
- Strong analytical, communication, and teamwork skills
