Job Title: Amazon Connect Engineer (Terraform Specialist) Location: Remote,USA Employment Type:Contract Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Amazon Connect Engineer with expertise in Terraform to design, implement, and manage scalable cloud-based contact center solutions. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in deploying and customizing Amazon Connect environments, integrating with other AWS services, and automating infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform.
Key Responsibilities-
Amazon Connect Implementation:
- Design, configure, and deploy Amazon Connect contact center solutions to meet business needs.
- Build and optimize contact flows, IVRs, routing profiles, and queues.
- Integrate Amazon Connect with other AWS services, including Lambda, DynamoDB, S3, and CloudWatch.
- Implement solutions for call recording, sentiment analysis, and reporting using tools like Contact Lens and CloudWatch Metrics.

Terraform Automation:
- Develop and maintain Terraform scripts to automate Amazon Connect infrastructure deployment and management.
- Create reusable Terraform modules to enable efficient and consistent provisioning.
- Ensure Terraform code is modular, secure, and adheres to best practices.

Integration & Development:
- Collaborate with development teams to integrate Amazon Connect with external CRMs (e.g., Salesforce, Zendesk) and third-party systems.
- Write and optimize AWS Lambda functions using Python or Node.js for custom workflows and event triggers.

Monitoring & Optimization:
- Monitor Amazon Connect performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize configurations for efficiency and scalability.
- Use analytics tools to measure performance metrics and implement improvements.

Documentation & Collaboration:
- Create detailed documentation for infrastructure designs, Terraform modules, and operational processes.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including DevOps, software development, and customer support teams.

Amazon Connect Expertise:
- Proven experience implementing and managing Amazon Connect solutions.
- In-depth knowledge of contact flow design, IVRs, and queue/routing configurations.

Terraform Proficiency:
- Hands-on experience creating and maintaining Terraform scripts for AWS infrastructure.
- Familiarity with Terraform best practices, state management, and version control tools like Git.

AWS Knowledge:
- Strong understanding of AWS services, including Lambda, DynamoDB, S3, CloudWatch, and IAM.
- AWS certification (Solutions Architect, Developer, or Advanced Networking) is a plus.

Programming Skills:
- Proficiency in Python or Node.js for developing Lambda functions and custom scripts.

Soft Skills:
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to document and present solutions clearly.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins, GitLab, or AWS CodePipeline.

- Familiarity with AWS CloudFormation and API Gateway for advanced solutions.
