Ruby on Rails Developer

Role: Ruby on Rails Developer

Location: NYC, NY Hybrid

It is Hybrid in Downtown Manhattan.

Must haves

Tech Stack:

o Ruby, Ruby on Rails framework primarily (primarily backend)

o Distributed systems

o Messaging: PubSub, Rabbit MQ, IBM MQ,

o Microservices

o Any relational DB is fine-they use Postgres. Running standard queries; they don t use materialized views or write store procedures. Need to make sure code interacts with the database

o The org is attempting to shift toward Java, it is not needed, but can be helpful in the future

Work with onshore business teams to develop software new applications and enhancements.

Unit test the solution and document the implemented design, procedures and manuals for the final software solution.

Resolve production support issues and coordinate release of new applications and enhancements.

Graduation. B. E/MCA preferred.
