Description
The purpose of this position is to partner with business stakeholders and technology teams to analyze, implement and continuously improve business operations through the effective utilization of technology. The SAP Business Analyst will develop an in-depth understanding of the core SAP functions and have visibility to cross functional inefficient processes and objectives and improve productivity throughout the business.
Job Responsibilities:
Identifies, analyzes and facilitates the implementation of new and enhanced technology to support the ERP system: Work with business unit analysts to define business needs, project requirements, system specifications, and deliverables.
Coordinates activities and maintains on-going communication with management, technology team, end users, and other stakeholders.
Coordinates decisions based on business requirements, system functionality, and best business practices.
Participates in system configuration, data conversion, and testing processes.
Troubleshoots system errors and performance problems so that business needs are met on a timely basis. Provides 2nd level support for help desk calls. Analyzes trends and develops recommendations to resolve recurring issues. Prepares and updates documentation to include functional specifications, testing procedures, end user documentation, technical standard operating procedures (SOP), etc.
Facilitates timely and thorough system testing for new system implementations and system updates/upgrades.
Actively participates in business process improvement activities to include leading and participating in process improvement events (Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, etc.).
Develops and maintains project plans in line with department and corporate objectives.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $70.00/hr.
