Job Details

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Technical Data Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in quantitative data analysis and a strong technical background. This role requires exceptional problem-solving skills, creativity, and the ability to perform detailed end-to-end analysis. You will be working with a variety of data systems and tools, and your work will directly impact our decision-making processes.

Key Responsibilities:

- Perform quantitative data analysis to inform business decisions and strategy.

- Utilize advanced SQL skills to query data, perform segmentation, and aggregate data from a data warehouse.

- Work with various data processing tools and systems such as relational databases, NoSQL databases, and stream processing tools.

- Utilize data modeling skills to structure complex data sets.

- Employ analytical tools like Python, R, or PyCharm for detailed data analysis and modeling.

- Work with AWS tools such as Redshift, Athena, and understand core AWS concepts.

- Ensure data accuracy and perform data quality checks.

- Present complex technical information in a clear and concise manner to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand their data needs and provide analytical solutions.

- Continuously seek to improve data processes and tools.

Mandatory Requirements:

- 8+ years of work experience involving quantitative data analysis is preferred.

- Technical undergraduate degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Statistics, Analytics, or equivalent experience.

- Advanced SQL skills to query and manipulate data.

- Proficiency in data processing tools/systems (relational, NoSQL, stream processing).

- Familiarity with AWS tools such as Redshift, Athena, and core AWS concepts.

- Knowledge in data modeling techniques.

- Experience with analytical and data modeling tools (Python, R, PyCharm).

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

- Strong organizational, time management, and task prioritization skills with attention to detail.

- High level of professionalism, passion, and bias towards action.

- Strong critical-thinking skills and creativity.

- Inquisitive, curious, and a continuous learner.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience with instrumentation, clickstream data, data architecture, and complex business systems interactions (such as Salesforce, Amazon Connect, EWFM).
