Full Stack Developer (Remote, 6-Month Contract with likely long-term extensions)
Are you a passionate Full Stack Developer looking for an exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects? We are seeking a talented individual to join my cleint on a 6-month remote contract with a competitive rate.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop innovative solutions to complex software problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software that meets customer needs.
- Participate in product planning and implementation, providing technical expertise to solve problems and remove roadblocks.
- Engage in continuous learning and apply new techniques to improve product lifecycle.
Tech Stack:
- Backend: Java, Spring, Kafka, GitHub, Bitbucket, CI/CD pipelines
- Frontend: React (minimal front-end work)
- Environment: SOA architecture, messaging architecture, microservices
- Tools: Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift, Azure AD, Snyk, Sonar
Preferred Experience:
- Strong backend development skills with Java, Spring, Kafka, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with SOA architecture, messaging technology on the cloud, and microservices.
- Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes, with a current project to phase out Docker and move to OpenShift.
- Knowledge of Azure AD, Snyk, and Sonar.
- Background in test automation is a plus.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- 3 to 5+ years of engineering experience.
- Sound knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Strong problem-solving skills and a growth mindset.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in an agile environment.
