  • What are the day-to-day responsibilities?
    • Administer, configure, and maintain the ServiceNow platform, including incident, problem, change, asset, and service catalog modules.
    • Manage user accounts, roles, and access permissions within ServiceNow.
    • Monitor system performance, identify potential issues, and implement corrective measures to ensure uptime and availability.
    • Collaborate with business users to understand requirements and translate them into functional ServiceNow solutions.
    • Develop and maintain custom workflows, business rules, and UI policies in ServiceNow.
    • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to ServiceNow functionality and integrations.
    • Ensure platform upgrades and patches are implemented timely with minimal disruption.
    • Maintain ServiceNow documentation, including process flows, system configurations, and user guides.
    • Provide end-user training and support for ServiceNow functionalities.
    • Assist in the design and implementation of new modules or enhancements to existing modules based on business needs.
    • servicenow for ITSM-doing workflows; within servicenow there are templates and workflows so this person needs to know where the ticket goes etc. so doesn t have to be a developer but they need to understand the process
    • Providing tier 1 through 3 support
    • Creating templates; workflows; troubleshooting

  1. Must-haves:
  • Bachelor s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Proven experience as a ServiceNow Administrator (3 years + preferred).
  • Servicenow Systems Certificate
  • Strong knowledge of ServiceNow modules including ITSM and Service Catalog.
  • Experience with ServiceNow development (workflows, UI actions, business rules, client scripts, etc.).
  • Familiarity with ServiceNow integrations (such as or one of the following: LDAP, SSO, etc.).
  • Understanding of ITIL processes and how they integrate with ServiceNow.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

How is the work currently being done?

They have a staff of 12 people coast to coast and 1 in Canada

  1. Worksite Address: REMOTE but office is in Lake Forest, CA
  2. Work Hours: MST OR CST
  3. Work Auth: USC
  • Assignment Length: 3-6 months c2h
  • Start Date: Mid-end October

**Required Qualifications:**

- Bachelor s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

- Proven experience as a ServiceNow Administrator (2+ years preferred).

- Strong knowledge of ServiceNow modules including ITSM and Service Catalog.

- Experience with ServiceNow development (workflows, UI actions, business rules, client scripts, etc.).

- Familiarity with ServiceNow integrations (such as or one of the following: LDAP, SSO, etc.).

- Understanding of ITIL processes and how they integrate with ServiceNow.

- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

- Strong communication and collaboration abilities.

- ServiceNow Administrator certification is preferred.

**Preferred Qualifications:**

- Experience with ServiceNow implementation and upgrades.

- Knowledge of scripting languages such as JavaScript or Glide.

- Experience with ITOM or other ServiceNow applications.

- Strong understanding of Agile development practices.
