Job Details

As the Enterprise Product Catalog Architect will be responsible for the strategic design, development, and implementation of the product catalog architecture across the enterprise. You will lead the technical efforts to ensure the system is robust, scalable, and integrated with other critical business systems such as billing, CRM, and order management. Your role will involve working closely with engineering teams, business analysts, and cross-functional leaders to ensure that the product catalog is optimized for business performance and customer experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Architecture Design: Lead the architectural design of the enterprise product catalog, ensuring scalability, flexibility, and integration with multiple systems including billing, CRM, eCommerce, and digital platforms.
  • System Integration: Collaborate with IT and engineering teams to integrate the product catalog with enterprise systems and external applications, ensuring seamless data flow and synchronization across platforms.
  • Technical Leadership: Provide technical leadership for catalog system upgrades, new features, and enhancements, ensuring the architecture supports the company s strategic initiatives and operational goals.
  • Solution Development: Design and implement solutions for managing complex product configurations, pricing models, and bundling of products and services.
  • Data Governance: Oversee the structure of product data to ensure consistency, accuracy, and compliance with internal data governance standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Process Optimization: Drive continuous improvements in the product catalog architecture to enhance efficiency, reduce errors, and support faster go-to-market initiatives.
  • Collaboration: Work with product management, marketing, operations, and other teams to ensure the architecture supports business needs, product launches, and customer-facing solutions.
  • Vendor Management: Manage relationships with external vendors and partners, ensuring third-party tools and services integrate smoothly with the product catalog architecture.
  • Cloud and On-Premise Solutions: Design and manage hybrid cloud/on-premise architectures for product catalog systems, ensuring robust performance, security, and disaster recovery capabilities.
  • Technical Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of the product catalog architecture, including system design, data flow, and integration points.
  • Security & Compliance: Ensure the product catalog architecture adheres to security standards and compliance regulations relevant to the telecommunications industry.
  • Performance Monitoring: Implement monitoring tools to assess the performance, scalability, and reliability of the product catalog system, proactively addressing any issues or bottlenecks.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical field. A master s degree is a plus.
  • 7+ years of experience in product catalog management, enterprise architecture, or a related role, preferably within the telecommunications or technology sectors.
  • Expertise in architecting and deploying product catalog systems in large-scale enterprise environments.
  • Proficiency with product catalog and order management platforms such as Oracle, Salesforce, or similar systems.
  • Strong experience with enterprise integration patterns, RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and data synchronization techniques.
  • Familiarity with pricing models, product lifecycle management, and catalog versioning.
  • Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and hybrid architectures.
  • Solid understanding of security, compliance, and regulatory standards in the telecommunications industry.
  • Experience with Agile development methodologies and tools like JIRA and Confluence.

Preferred Skills:

  • Deep knowledge of the telecommunications industry and subscription-based business models.
  • Experience with digital transformation projects, focusing on customer experience, pricing strategies, and product bundling.
  • Expertise in enterprise architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF) and solution architecture best practices.
  • Familiarity with modern data management tools and frameworks, including master data management (MDM) systems
