Python Automation Tester - 61843
We have an immediate long-term opportunity with one of our largest clients for a position of Python Automation Tester to work in Arden Hills, St. Paul, MN
Requirements
- Lead and manage automation testing efforts, ensuring high-quality outcomes and on-time delivery.
- Develop and execute automated test scripts using Selenium and Python.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, review, and implement test strategies.
- Perform V&V (Verification and Validation) testing and review of test artifacts.
- Utilize Linux OS for testing environments.
- Create detailed test plans, test cases, and related documentation.
- Work with JIRA and BitBucket to track progress, issues, and version control.
- Mentor junior team members and promote best practices in automation testing.
- Coordinate and lead testing efforts under Agile or Kanban methodologies.
Qualification
- 8+ years in Information Technology, with a focus on testing.
- 6+ years of experience in Software Testing.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with Selenium and Automation Testing.
- 4+ years of experience with Python and Python scripting.
- Solid knowledge of the Linux operating system.
- Proficient in using JIRA and BitBucket for tracking and collaboration.
- Ability to create and execute test plans and test cases effectively.
