IronGate Cybersecurity is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Digital Forensics Analyst to join our Professional Services Team. This role is ideal for someone passionate about cybersecurity, eager to learn, and looking to make a significant impact in the fight against cybercrime. The successful candidate will support senior analysts in conducting digital forensic investigations and analyses, contributing to our clients' response to cyber incidents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the collection, preservation, and analysis of digital evidence.
  • Work closely with senior analysts on digital forensic projects, including ransomware, Business Email Compromise (BEC), unwanted intrusion, third party breaches, and malware analysis.
  • Utilize forensic tools and software to analyze system artifacts, system logs, network logs, and malware.
  • Prepare detailed reports and documentation of findings for both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging cybersecurity threats and forensic investigation techniques.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor s degree in Digital Forensics, Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
  • 2-5 years of experience in a digital forensics, incident response, threat hunting, or cybersecurity role. Recent graduates with relevant internship experience are encouraged to apply.
  • Understanding of cyber threat landscapes and digital forensic principles.
  • Experience performing forensic investigations on Windows, MAC, or Linux operating systems.
  • Familiarity with forensic software and tools (Axiom, EnCase, X-Ways, open source tools).
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication and teamwork abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with CrowdStrike Falcon or similar endpoint security platforms.
  • Certifications in digital forensics or cybersecurity (e.g., GCFE, GCFA, CCFP, or CEH).
  • Practical experience in incident response.
