Location: South San Francisco, CA (3 days onsite/week)
Duration: 12 Months+ Extension

Job Description Overview:
This role is ideal for aFrontend Engineerwith a deep expertise inJavaScript and AngularJS, aiming to contribute to high-impact scientific and business strategies. You will work onsite inSouth San Francisco(3x per week). The focus is on developing high-quality, architecturally sound software for empowering scientists and enhancing business-critical processes.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain robust, scalable, and high-performing frontend applications usingAngularJSand modern JavaScript frameworks.
  • Design reusable components, directives, and services to streamline development.
  • Work on RESTful API integrations, ensuring smooth frontend-backend communication.
  • Implement state management using tools likeReduxorRxJS.
  • Ensure cross-browser compatibility and responsive design usingHTML5andCSS3(Sass).
  • Write and execute unit and end-to-end tests using tools likeJasmine,Karma, andProtractor.
  • Collaborate with backend engineers, designers, and product teams for seamless delivery.
  • Maintain code quality through best practices and version control usingGit.
Must-Have Skills:
  1. AngularJS Expertise
  2. Proficiency in creating components, directives, routing, and dependency injection in AngularJS.
  3. JavaScript (ES6+)
  4. Strong understanding of object-oriented programming, DOM manipulation.
  5. Frontend Development
  6. Proficiency inHTML5,CSS3, and frontend build tools likeWebpackandBabel.
  7. Testing Frameworks
  8. Experience withJasmine,Karma,Mocha, orJestfor unit and integration testing.
  9. Version Control
  10. Proficiency inGitfor version control and collaborative development.
  11. RESTful Web Services
  12. Hands-on experience integrating REST APIs and building responsive UIs.
Preferred Skills (Good-to-Have):
  • Familiarity with modern frontend frameworks like React, Redux, or Immutable.js.
  • Knowledge of Node.jsand Expressfor potential backend interaction.
  • Experience with TypeScript.
