Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Senior AWS Cloud Administrator with strong expertise in managing and optimizing AWS cloud environments. The ideal candidate will also bring hands-on automation experience with Ansible and/or Terraform, ensuring efficient deployment, configuration management, and infrastructure-as-code (IaC) practices. This is a hybrid role, requiring the candidate to be onsite three days per week

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer and maintain AWS cloud infrastructure including EC2, S3, IAM, VPC, CloudWatch, Lambda, RDS, and other core AWS services.
• Develop and manage infrastructure-as-code using Terraform and/or Ansible for provisioning and configuration tasks.
• Automate deployment pipelines and cloud infrastructure to improve scalability and reliability.
• Monitor system performance, availability, and resource utilization; implement solutions for optimization and efficiency.
• Implement and manage security best practices including IAM policies, encryption, and network security controls.
• Collaborate with development, security, and DevOps teams to support CI/CD workflows and cloud-native applications.
• Perform regular backups, patching, system updates, and incident response for cloud environments.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members as needed.
• Maintain detailed documentation of systems, procedures, and cloud architectures.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in cloud system administration, with at least 3 years focused on AWS.
• Proficiency in scripting and automation using Terraform and/or Ansible.
• Strong understanding of Linux/Unix administration and networking fundamentals.
• Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab, CodePipeline) and container technologies (e.g., Docker, ECS, or EKS) is a plus.
• Familiarity with security, compliance, and governance in cloud environments.
• AWS certifications such as AWS Certified SysOps Administrator Associate or AWS Certified DevOps Engineer Professional preferred.
• Excellent communication and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work onsite 3 days per week in a collaborative environment.
