What we are looking for:

The ServiceNow developer role will play a critical role in both the development and operational support of the ServiceNow platform. This role will be a part of a development team, playing a critical part in implementing new strategic capabilities and improving existing functions in ServiceNow.

  • Act as a key contributor in developing and implementing ServiceNow capabilities at Western Alliance Bank.
  • Operational support and continual improvement of Western Alliance Bank's ServiceNow instance in partnership with our Product Owners
  • Develop metrics, governance, and documentation for ServiceNow development efforts.
  • Participate in developing IT strategy and ensuring that development processes support those objectives.
  • Develop strong relationships with technology and business leaders.
  • Comfortable developing and managing continual improvement plans for ITIL processes.
  • Develop, align, and continually improve development documentation.


Qualifications:
  • 8+ years of experience in software engineering required.
  • 5+ years of experience configuring and developing applications on the ServiceNow platform required.
  • Two or more of the following ServiceNow certifications: Certified Systems Administrator (CSA), Certified Application Developer (CAD), or Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) required.
  • Experience integrating multiple data sets into ServiceNow, leveraging conflict, deduplication, and reconciliation rules to maintain the data integrity required.
  • Foundational certification in ITIL v3 or above is required.
  • Understanding of IT workflows as well as experience with at least two of the following: ServiceNow products: ITSM, ITOM, HAM, SAM, or GRC is required.
  • Expert level development skills on the ServiceNow platform: JavaScript, Business Rules, Client Scripts, Flow Designer, Script Includes, etc. required.


Desired Competencies :
  • Experience building integrations with 3rd party systems using REST and SOAP web services, preferred.
  • Experience with Agile development process preferred.
  • Previous experience working with Business Architecture concepts (TOGAF)
  • Ability to demonstrate managing large organizational changes with excellent collaboration skills
  • Experience with multiple ITSM tool transitions, specifically recent ServiceNow or Remedy experience.
  • Comfortable operating in white space without direction, including developing strategies and improvement plans.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships across the organization.
