We are seeking an experienced Application Engineering Manager who is passionate about leading teams, working with cutting-edge technology, and creating innovative solutions. This role is a unique opportunity to manage and lead a team of application engineers in the Engineering industry, focusing on building materials and construction. The successful candidate will have a significant impact on our organization by driving key projects, improving processes, and fostering a high-performance culture. This is a permanent position that requires at least 5 years of relevant experience in the field.
Responsibilities:
1. Lead and mentor a team of application engineers, providing guidance, support, and feedback to ensure their professional growth and the successful completion of projects.
2. Oversee the design, development, and implementation of application systems and software, ensuring that they meet organizational needs and adhere to industry standards.
3. Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to define project scopes, set deadlines, and allocate resources effectively.
4. Use your expertise in building materials and construction to optimize application engineering processes and develop innovative solutions.
5. Manage all phases of the project lifecycle, from conception to delivery, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
6. Utilize AutoCAD and other software tools to design and optimize systems and processes.
7. Foster a culture of continuous improvement, encouraging innovation and efficiency in all operations.
8. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, standards, and best practices in the engineering field.
Qualifications:
1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in application engineering, with a focus on building materials and construction.
2. Proven experience in leading and mentoring teams, with a track record of delivering successful projects.
3. Extensive knowledge of project management principles and practices, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
4. Proficiency in AutoCAD and other relevant software tools.
5. Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and make sound decisions under pressure.
6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with team members, stakeholders, and clients.
7. A bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field is required. A master's degree or additional certifications are a plus.
8. A strong commitment to safety, quality, and customer satisfaction.
