We are looking for an experienced Healthcare Business Analyst to join our growing team in Atlanta, GA. This is a hybrid role, offering the flexibility to work both remotely and onsite. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in healthcare operations, business analysis, and system integration, along with a passion for improving healthcare services through technology and data-driven insights. Key Responsibilities:

  • Gather, analyze, and document business requirements from stakeholders within the healthcare sector.

  • Work with cross-functional teams to design and implement solutions that meet business needs and improve healthcare operations.

  • Analyze current business processes, workflows, and systems to identify areas for improvement and optimize performance.

  • Create detailed functional specifications, reports, and data models based on business requirements.

  • Translate complex healthcare data into actionable insights and ensure that business solutions are aligned with organizational goals.

  • Assist with the integration of healthcare systems, including Electronic Health Records (EHR), Practice Management Systems (PMS), and other health IT systems.

  • Work closely with project managers to ensure that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.

  • Support the testing phase of new healthcare solutions and ensure systems meet business and technical requirements.

  • Provide training and support to end-users on new systems, processes, and technologies.

  • Maintain a strong understanding of industry regulations and compliance requirements (e.g., HIPAA, HITECH).

  • Develop dashboards and reports to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for business analysis.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, Information Technology, or related field.

  • 3+ years of experience as a Healthcare Business Analyst or in a similar business analysis role within the healthcare industry.

  • Strong knowledge of healthcare industry processes, regulations, and compliance requirements (e.g., HIPAA, ICD-10, HL7).

  • Experience with healthcare management systems, EHRs, and healthcare IT infrastructure.

  • Proficiency in data analysis, business intelligence tools, and reporting (e.g., SQL, Tableau, Power BI, Excel).

  • Ability to create clear and concise documentation and communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

  • Experience with healthcare workflows and process optimization.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and a results-driven mindset.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for interacting with healthcare providers, technical teams, and business stakeholders.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with Agile methodology and working in Agile environments.

  • Familiarity with healthcare-specific standards such as HL7, CCD, and CCDS.

  • Certification in healthcare business analysis (e.g., Certified Business Analysis Professional - CBAP) or other relevant certifications.

  • Familiarity with data modeling and database design.

  • Experience with cloud-based healthcare solutions (e.g., AWS, Azure).
