We are looking for a Sr. Sourcing Specialist in Strategic Sourcing who will support purchasing activities for cost effective initiatives, supplier relationship management, and continue to grow the organization's sourcing efforts, including growth into Category Management. The Sr. Sourcing Specialist will partner closely with the business to identify and execute cost savings strategies, centralize sourcing and procurement efforts, and develop vendor management programs to enable business success across Bill.

Primary responsibilities:

• Strategically source a portfolio of products and services for BILL. Leverage resources, tools, processes, and strategies to drive and achieve business results and savings targets.
• Build relationships with internal stakeholders to understand and help develop their 3-year operating plans while also achieving their annual savings targets through 2027. This goes beyond sourcing and cost management. You must be closely tied to the business so we can re-engineer spend deployment with new initiatives.
• Partner with Legal and Finance to maintain a streamlined contract review and approval process and communicate appropriately.
• Competitively source spend through engagement of strategic suppliers and application of industry knowledge.
• Support BILL's procurement policies across BILL.
• Identify cost savings opportunities and the implementation of programs to actualize these savings.
• Direct internal and external processes to ensure an integrated sourcing system that meets customer requirements, minimize total cost of ownership and maximizes effectiveness.
• Develop strong business relationships with suppliers to develop strategic/preferred suppliers in categories while still obtaining competitive prices
• Ensure optimal balance between value for money and cost savings is achieved, while enabling the business through timely decision-making and thoughtful negotiations.
• Provide feedback and support in developing vendor management structure, including assessment of critical business relationships and financial efficiency
• Lead vendor negotiations and develop a framework for MSAs, SOWs, and related purchase agreement standards
• Deliver an excellent Procurement experience for our internal customers
• Further develop and grow the Strategic Sourcing function in collaboration with Senior Manager, Strategic Sourcing
• Make the Procurement process as simple and easy for our stakeholders as possible
• Enable business success

We'd love to chat if you have:

• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance or a related field is required
• CPM or CPSM certification is preferred
• MBA is preferred
• 3-5 years experience in strategic sourcing and vendor management roles, preferably in tech / fintech.
• Experience with Coupa or similar P2P platforms
• Builder mentality, desire and experience
• Experience running end-to-end RFP processes with business owners and other stakeholders
• Strong experience in tech sourcing (SaaS, cloud, hardware, etc.)
• Strong experience negotiating a variety of contracts in other spend categories across the entire company (sales, marketing, corporate services, professional services, consulting, facilities, etc.)
• Ability to negotiate aggressively while achieving business owner requirements and maintaining quality vendor relationships
• Strong interpersonal skills including building relationships and trust with internal stakeholders
• Strong project management skills with high attention to detail
• Ability to prioritize and action multiple projects simultaneously in a multifaceted environment
• Ability to overcome resistance to change and build trust / show value quickly
• Strong service-minded mentality and approach
• Self-starter, highly motivated who can perform effectively individually and as a team member
• Growth mindset and a positive attitude
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)

The estimated base salary range for this role is noted below for our office location in Draper, UT. Additionally, this role is eligible to participate in BILL's bonus and equity plan. Our ranges for each role and job level are based on a variety of factors including candidate experience, expertise, and geographic location and may vary from the amounts listed above. The role is also eligible for a competitive benefits package that includes: medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurance, 401(k) retirement plan, flexible spending & health savings account, paid holidays, paid time off, and other company benefits.

$84,900-$106,100 USD
