Description:

RF Design Engineer | Irving, TX (Hybrid) | 12+ Months Project

Must have ibwave design -hands on experience

This is a support role for projects that the inbuilding sales teams bring in

Description:

You will be part of the National In-building PMO RF Design team interfacing with submarket teams, enterprise sales teams and senior leadership teams. You will help build the foundation that keeps us in front of the competition. You will be designing, managing the implementation of enterprise in-building projects and distributed antenna systems. These projects require interaction at the Director/VP level and development of Executive dashboards and presentations.

MUST HAVE SKILLS (Most Important):

5 to 7 years of designing In-Building systems using IBWave

Very proficient in the use of ATOLL.

Extensive knowledge of FCC Emissions and RF Safety guidelines

Proficient on RF/Regulatory and PM Software: Atoll, Fuze/Siterra, Roofmaster/Roofview

Expert in office computer applications: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Access.

RF System Optimization techniques for voice and data for Nortel, Motorola, and/or Nokia infrastructure

Should have a good understanding of engineering concepts, and must show aptitude and desire to learn and advance in a technical field.

This individual needs to be experienced in RF Design for Indoor Systems.

Experience with RAN and DAS OEM systems required

Expertise with prediction and Mapping tools (Atoll, iBwave, MapInfo, Windcatcher)

An in-depth understanding of the various aspects of the RF Engineering elements that affect the decisions they are making or recommending

An end-to-end understanding of the systems they are making decisions on and the technologies that are driving them

A firm grasp and hands-on knowledge of the tools they are using as well as understand the range and limitations of those tools

Ability to pay attention to the minute details of a project or task

Possessing the trait of being organized or following a systematic method of performing a task

Ability to complete assigned tasks under stressful situations

JOB DUTIES:

Review RF Designs for all types or indoor locations and venues.

Recommend changes and improvements based on review

Validate all designs follow the design guidelines.

Support all customer funded design reviews

Completing the required RF paperwork per project.

Filing 911 and regulatory paperwork for all projects assigned to you

Team up with experienced RF Design engineers to manage projects throughout the country.

EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS:

BS in Engineering or Computer Science or equivalent work experience in the cellular or telecommunications industry

5 to 7 years of experience in In-building RF Design
