I&C Technician/Electrical Test Technician
Duration: 2.5- 3 months (through 2024) assignment (Some possibility of extension)
Start: As soon as possible
Number of positions: 4
Location: Andover, CT
Work Schedule: 5-10s (overtime is available)
I&C Technicians to perform electrical testing in the Greater Hartford Area for a contract manufacturer supplying electromechanical and electronic assemblies, pc board assemblies, cables and control chassis to commercial and military OEM s . Contract may extend based on business needs. The components being tested will support a Spring 2025 outage but activities are not directly supporting a fall outage

Duties:
- Performing instrumentation testing using digital multi-meters, oscilloscopes, and customer supplier equipment/simulators.
- Interpret drawings and execute test procedures.
- Operate electronic and electrical test equipment.
- Read and follow drawings, blueprints, wiring diagrams, schematic drawings, or engineering instructions for assemble/testing electronics units, applying knowledge of basic electronic theory and components.
- Learn, understand, and practice the appropriate quality, health, and safety procedures applicable to each work assignment.
Required Qualifications:
- Degree in Electronics Engineering Technology is preferred.
- High School diploma, GED, or equivalent job experience is required.
- 2+ years of experience is preferred. Recent graduates will also be considered.
- Strong communication, teamwork, and organizational skills.
- Field cable installation work is a plus.
