Job Summary:
The Project Manager for Hardware and Software Provisioning will oversee and manage the delivery of hardware and software solutions, ensuring timely deployment, efficient execution, and alignment with business objectives. This role requires a deep understanding of hardware provisioning systems, including asset tracking and logistics, as well as software provisioning tools for OS imaging, software distribution, and endpoint management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage end-to-end hardware and software provisioning projects.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams (IT, procurement, logistics, software deployment) to ensure timely provisioning and deployment of hardware and software.
- Monitor and manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure project success.
- Manage the deployment of hardware provisioning tools such as NFC dashboards, hardware catalog admin portals, and shipping centers.
- Oversee OS imaging processes and software deployment systems like MECM (Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager).
- Ensure successful deployment and integration of provisioning systems and processes with other IT systems.
- Maintain and update project documentation, ensuring clear communication of goals, timelines, and milestones.
- Track and report project progress, issues, risks, and resolutions to senior leadership.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and define project requirements, scope, and objectives.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in project management, preferably in hardware and software provisioning or IT service management.
- Strong knowledge of hardware provisioning systems, OS imaging, MECM, and software deployment.
- Proven experience managing cross-functional teams and large-scale IT projects.
- Experience with project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, etc.).
- Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Project Management Professional (PMP) or similar certification.
- Experience with asset tracking systems, including NFC-based solutions.
- Familiarity with service desk platforms and reporting tools (e.g., EUTSD Reporting, AEP User Exception Portal).
