RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Project Manager in Chicago, IL.

Summary:
The Project Manager will be responsible for leading a critical initiative to enhance the quality and accessibility of the company's employee portal HR knowledge base. This involves conducting a thorough assessment of the existing knowledge base, identifying and addressing key issues such as ineffective metadata, incomplete user criteria, duplicate articles, and policy gaps. The Project Manager will develop and implement a comprehensive plan to "clean up" the knowledge base, establish effective governance processes, and drive adoption of new ways of working across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:
Project Planning and Execution:
* Develop a detailed project plan outlining the scope, objectives, timeline, and resource requirements
* Conduct a comprehensive assessment of the existing knowledge base to identify areas for improvement
* Design and implement strategies to "clean up" article metadata, including bulk updates and standardization of keywords
* Develop and implement a governance framework to ensure ongoing maintenance and quality of the knowledge base
* Coordinate global "clean up" initiatives, ensuring consistency and alignment across different regions and service lines

Change Management:
* Develop and execute a comprehensive change management plan to effectively communicate the project goals and benefits to stakeholders
* Address potential risks and challenges associated with the project, including resistance to change and data quality issues
* Facilitate training and knowledge transfer to enable employees to use the improved knowledge base effectively

Stakeholder Management:
* Build strong relationships with key stakeholders, including service line leaders, HR professionals, and subject matter experts
* Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, address concerns, and ensure project alignment with organizational objectives

REQUIREMENTS:
* Proven experience as a Project Manager with a successful track record of delivering complex projects
* Strong change management skills, including the ability to effectively manage resistance to change and drive adoption of new processes
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and address complex issues
* Ability to effectively manage project scope, budget, and timeline
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Familiarity with ServiceNow or similar knowledge management platforms is a plus
* Proficiency in project management tools such as Smartsheets and experience creating dashboards is preferred
* Experience working in a large, global organization is desirable

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
