What you'll do:

Position title: SAP iXp Intern - Associate Developer

Location: Hybrid - Newtown Square

Expected start date: May 2025

Duration: 12 months

Working hours: Part-time - Full-time ( 20 - 40 hrs./week)

  • To build software products for the Life Science industry on SAP Business Technology Platform and infuse Artificial Intelligence technology where appropriate
  • Responsible for design, coding, testing, and quality assurance of software features, collaborating with the architects and engineers
  • An avid learner and willing to assume responsibility for accepted tasks and deliver results

What you bring:

We're looking for someone who takes initiative, perseveres, and stays curious. You like to work on meaningful, innovative projects and are energized by lifelong learning.

  • Education: Student with a bachelor's in computer science or a related engineering discipline. A Master's in Computer Science is most preferred
  • Eligibility: Must be currently enrolled, or entry level (start date must be within 6 months of graduation date) from a coding academy/bootcamp, apprenticeship, associate, bachelor's, master's or JD/PhD program
  • Technical competence in one or more programming languages/platforms: Java, NodeJS, Python, ABAP, HTML 5, JavaScript
  • Good understanding of REST APIs and their development.
  • Solid knowledge in Large Language Model (LLM) consumption for AI application development
  • Knowledge of source control systems (Git) and Continuous Integration and Deployment tools (Jenkins)
  • Experience in software development using cloud native technologies (IaaS providers SAP/AWS/Azure/Google Cloud Platform)
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English

Compensation Range Transparency: SAP believes the value of pay transparency contributes towards an honest and supportive culture and is a significant step toward demonstrating SAP's commitment to pay equity. SAP provides the annualized compensation range inclusive of base salary and variable incentive target for the career level applicable to the posted role. The targeted combined range for this position is 15-62 USD. The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidate will be within that range, dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education, skills, experience, scope of the role, location, etc. as determined through the selection process. Any SAP variable incentive includes a targeted dollar amount and any actual payout amount is dependent on company and personal performance.
