Job Description
The Machining Equipment Engineers ensure CNC machines sustain a high level of uptime while producing high quality product in a safe manner. Equipment Engineers take end-to-end ownership of equipment improvement projects; from concept through design and implementation. Equipment Engineer is responsible for providing engineering support on planned and unplanned repairs, modifications, and upgrades of CNC machining production equipment. Equipment Engineers support day-to-day resolution of the most challenging technical issues facing the team. This role plays a key part in maximizing critical production equipment for a core competency of our business.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills
  • Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline
  • Experience with CNC machining operations and repair
  • 4+ years of professional or internship/project hands on experience in a manufacturing or industrial maintenance environment
  • Physical effort including standing, lifting, and carrying equipment up to 30 lbs. unassisted
  • Available to work extended hours and some weekends
  • Willing to travel for short trips as needed, up to 10% travel

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
  • 2+ years of maintenance planning
  • 2+ years of supporting troubleshooting in a manufacturing environment
  • Experience leading maintenance technicians through complicated technical troubleshooting and repairs
  • Experience with Siemens CNC control systems 840D
  • Experience with CNC, multi-axis milling, and turning technology
  • Knowledge of part programming, commissioning, operating, and troubleshooting CNC machines
  • Experience with aligning, calibrating, and validating CNC machines
  • Experience coordinating contractors to execute projects and equipment repairs
  • Developed understanding of mechanical, fluid, and electrical components
  • Lean manufacturing training or experience
  • Demonstrates critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Strong interpersonal and diplomacy skills; capable of communicating summarized accomplishments in a fast-paced environment
  • Detail oriented, organized, and able to demonstrate a high sense of urgency
  • Excellent skill level using Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)

Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $83900 - $142600

Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
