Job Summary
BMA Is seeking an OCI Generalist to join our team and support efforts on the AMPS Legacy Program.
Duties:
OCI managing compartments and associated rights, permissions and polices
OCI capacity planning and performance management including Application Performance Monitoring (APM)
Working with OCI Network architectures and configurations
Troubleshooting OCI related issues
Managing OCI Identity and Access Management identity domain configurations including Single Sign-On (examples include) PKI or MFA or SAML); managing users and groups.
Working with Oracle Database Cloud Service (DBCS) and Oracle Autonomous Database
Working with OCI Services enabled on Oracle US Defense Cloud data centers
Clearance Requirements
Must possess IT-II security clearance or have a current National Agency Check with Local Agency Check and Credit Check (NACLC) at time of proposal submission.
Required Skills & Certifications
Have a general understanding and familiarity of the Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), Oracle Cloud technology and cloud services
Solving difficult problems in all areas of cloud service software engineering: high-scale distributed systems, virtualized infrastructure, identity, security, observability, and user experience.
Experience programming/scripting knowledge for automation of tasks such as terraform and ansible
Experience with configuration of analytics settings such as enabling consumption and usage analytics
Experience with configuration of user settings such as enabling external users and managing storage quota
Desired Skills & Certifications
Experience deploying and managing containerized applications using Oracle Kubernetes (OKE)
Experience administering Oracle based web tier (such as Oracle HTTP Server), middle tier (such as Oracle WebLogic) and database tier (such as Oracle DBCS)
Experience with Oracle APEX: a low-code development platform and Oracle REST Data Services (ORDS): a Java Enterprise Edition based data service to develop modern REST interfaces for relational data and JSON Document Store.
