Your role and responsibilities
As an intern, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience through various projects. Each day, you will acquire knowledge by performing tasks as directed. You will also showcase your expertise by supporting ABB's operations and enhancing personal education/employment opportunities.\n\nThe work model for the role is: onsite\n\nThis role is contributing to the Electrification Business.\n\nYou will be mainly accountable for:\n \tEnsure accuracy of certification records \n \tCoordinate and execute of certification projects and testing.\n \tMechanical/electrical assembly of samples, test set-up, report calculation or data analysis, status on projects to cross-functional stakeholders.\n \tPrepare certification document packages to support the product compliance.\n \tAssist electrical/mechanical design engineers in determining testing requirements for product compliance.\n \tUpdate certification databases with product information\n \tProvide Support for product certification and characterization.\n \tCoordinate product relationship with suppliers via factory locations, brand labeling agreements and repacking programs.\n\n

Qualifications for the role
- \tCurrently enrolled in a bachelor's degree program engineering in the United States.
- \tIntern must have reliable transportation to and from the worksite.
- \tMust be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now and in the future.
- \tUtilize critical thinking skills to analyze complex situations and develop strategic solutions
- \tEffectively organize and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines
- \tDemonstrate the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously without compromising quality
- \tCollaborate with team members to convey ideas, share information, and provide updates on project progress
