Description
We are in search of a mid level Systems Engineer to be a part of our team based in Tampa, Florida. This role involves direct interaction with client end-users to address issues related to hardware, software, network, and applications. This position is an in-office role where you will be the point of contact for advanced technical issues and requests.
Responsibilities:
Manage the installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of physical, virtual, and cloud servers based on site tech and industry best practices.
Serve as a Tier 3 support for escalations and outages, which may require communicating with customers and end-users.
Take charge of Microsoft 365 migration, configuration, troubleshooting, and high-level administration for new and existing clients.
Manage our RMM solution used to support client and internal servers and workstations remotely.
Maintain client backup solutions for both cloud and on-prem infrastructure.
Monitor alerts and identify trends, performing root cause analysis to resolve issues.
Contribute to the development and design of client support efforts and systems.
Display good communication and documentation habits.
Utilize cloud technologies, Dell technologies, Active Directory, AWS technologies, Microsoft, AWS managed services, and server configuration skills.
Troubleshoot hardware issues.
Requirements
Must have a minimum of 5 years of experience in a Systems Engineer role or similar
Proficient in Cloud Technologies including but not limited to AWS Technologies and AWS Managed Services
Demonstrated knowledge and experience with Dell Technologies
Proven experience with Microsoft products and platforms
Familiarity with Active Directory is required
Experience with Server Configuration is necessary
Must have strong skills in Hardware Troubleshooting
Ability to stay current with evolving technologies and advancements in the field of systems engineering
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field is preferred
Must be able to work fully onsite- Microsoft (MCSA or MCSE) or Microsoft 365 Certification is a huge plus!
