Work you'll do/Responsibilities

Join our team in implementing and deploying cloud migration strategies for government agencies. You will play a pivotal role in helping clients leverage cloud technology to enhance their services, reduce operational costs, and boost overall efficiency. Your work will make a tangible difference in how the public sector operates and serves its constituents.   • Help design, implement, and manage deployment and migration of cross-organization internal Cloud projects.
  • Be a technical advisor and perform troubleshooting to resolve technical issues for internal cloud environments.
  • Create and deliver reusable scripts, best practice recommendations, and sample code.
  • Design, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform.
  • Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using tools like Terraform.
  • Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure deployments.
  • Monitor and manage system performance, ensuring high availability and optimal resource utilization.
  • Implement and maintain robust security measures to protect cloud infrastructure and data.
  • Collaborate with development teams to understand their infrastructure needs and provide solutions.
  • Communicate regularly with Engagement Managers (Directors), project team members, and representatives from various functional and / or technical teams, including escalating any matters that require additional attention and consideration from engagement management.
  • Independently and collaboratively lead client engagement workstreams focused on improvement, optimization, and transformation of processes including implementing leading practice workflows, addressing deficits in quality, and driving operational outcomes.

Qualifications

Required
  • 7+ years of experience automating infrastructure provisioning, Networking, DevOps, or continuous integration/delivery in Google Cloud.
  • 7+ years of experience coding in one or more general purpose scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell, bash, etc.)
  • 7+ years of experience with managing and deploying Infrastructure as code with Terraform
  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related IT discipline; or equivalent experience
  • Limited immigration sponsorship may be available
  • Ability to travel 10%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is 98,875- 163,125.

You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
