Senior DevOps Consultant

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Senior Consultant (Platform Team) for a Contract (Duration TBD) in Cleveland, OH.

Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Consultant to join our Platform Team on a contract basis. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in full stack development with a strong focus on DevOps backend development. This role involves working with various technologies and tools to support and enhance our platform infrastructure. The role involves working with JenkinsX pipelines, GitHub repositories, and contributing to architectural patterns and setups.

Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and maintain backend services with a focus on DevOps
* Work with databases such as Snowflake and MongoDB
* Utilize Azure for cloud services, and manage infrastructure with Helm and Terraform
* Use GitHub for code repository management
* Implement and innovate JenkinsX pipelines
* Develop and maintain APIs for other product teams
* Work with Java Spring Boot for backend development
* Implement and manage observability tools such as Grafana and Azure Observability
* Utilize data transformation tools effectively
* Participate in architectural discussions and contribute to patterns and setup

REQUIREMENTS:
* Proven experience in full stack development with a focus on backend DevOps
* Proficient in Java Spring Boot, Snowflake, MongoDB, and Azure
* Experience with Azure, Helm, and Terraform
* Proficiency in using GitHub for code management
* Hands-on experience with JenkinsX pipelines
* Strong understanding of API development and integration
* Experience with Java Spring Boot
* Familiarity with observability tools like Grafana and Azure Observability
* Experience with data transformation tools
* Ability to participate in architectural discussions and contribute to patterns and setup

Preferred Qualifications:
* Strong knowledge of Snowflake, MongoDB, and Kong
* Strong problem-solving skills and ability to innovate
* Excellent communication and collaboration skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Attention to detail and a commitment to quality

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
